2nd Generation

Angelo Rocca

1936 - Angelo extended the activity to the wine production with the construction of an innovative cellar in Nardò, Apulia. The company still brings his name.

3rd Generation

Ernesto Rocca

1960- Ernesto purchased the first bottling line and started the distribution under the Rocca brand.

In 1998 his deep love for Apulia and his passion for the art of viticulture led him to buy a 100 hectares estate in Leverano, in the heart of the renomated Salento area.

INDICAZIONE GEOGRAFICA TIPICA

Production area: Apulia region

Grapes: Negroamaro, Nero di Troia,
Malvasia Nera, Primitivo
and Sus
umaniello.

Alcohol: 15% vol.

Tasting notes:
"5 VITE" stands out for its extraordinary harmonious taste resulting from the complementarity of each grape variety:
the soft elegant tannins of Negroamaro, the dense texture of Nero di Troia and the delicate aromas of Malvasia Nera blend perfectly with the authentic fruitness of Primitivo and the aromatic intensity of Susumaniello.

Intense red color with lively violet highlights, this wine releases marked notes of ripe red fruits, plum and sweet spices.
An enveloping wine with a long persistence.


Food pairing: ideal to pair with tasty and structured dishes such as those belonging to Apulian tradition. Excellent with red meat, game and medium-aged cheeses.

Aging potential: 5 years after the harvest.

Service temperature: 16° 18°C
